A new school year is almost here, and I can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the library! One of my favorite first day activities is my Library Themed Would You Rather game. It’s a fun way to get students talking, laughing, and thinking about books, reading, and all things library.
As students make their choices, I get to learn a little more about their interests and personalities while they get comfortable sharing their ideas with their classmates. It’s a simple activity, but it’s always a great way to start the year and begin building our library community.
